I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at Indiana University Northwest. My research focuses on two areas: the economics of intellectual property theft and heuristic portfolio construction. These areas share a common reliance on heavy-tailed and nonstationary variables, so I am also interested in the methodology involved in constructing and appropriately using such inputs.
